The Spokane Chinese Association celebrated the 2023 Lunar New Year celebration at the historic Martin Woldson Theater at the Fox on Sunday, January 15, 2023. The evening show featured traditional Chinese folk dances, Chinese Choir, Taichi, Peking Opera, Lion Dance, Chinese music and Instruments, and more!
The same afternoon saw a free admission culture fair with many family activities- Chinese calligraphy & painting, Lunar New Year photo booth, cuisine sampling, and many cultural booths.
Drawings of Chinese red envelopes with gift cards inside, from $25 to $50,
and a Grand Prize of $1003.00!
