Spokane Chinese Association’s Culture Connect Program
Culture Connect is a youth-focused initiative of the Spokane Chinese Association dedicated to fostering cross-cultural understanding, inclusivity, and community engagement. The program empowers young people to explore and celebrate cultural diversity through active participation in Chinese cultural events, educational workshops, and interactive classes. By connecting youth from all backgrounds, Culture Connect encourages open-mindedness, empathy, and appreciation for cultural differences. Participants gain first-hand experience in traditions such as Chinese festivals, language, arts, and history—while developing leadership skills and cultural awareness that extend beyond the classroom. At its heart, Culture Connect seeks to bridge communities, strengthen cross-cultural friendships, and inspire the next generation to build a more understanding and harmonious world—one cultural connection at a time.

It is my pleasure to announce that Spokane Chinese School will start a new Fall Semester on Saturday, September 16, 2017. The school has FIVE Chinese Language Classes, ONE children's calligraphy and painting class, and ONE adult's calligraphy class.
