今年的春晚可谓盛况空前——人流涌动的庙会与美食街，热闹非凡；座无虚席的春晚演出，更是巅峰呈现。我们确实值得沉浸在成功的喜悦与成果之中——这是每一位演员、每一位志愿者，以及数不胜数的幕后英雄并肩努力的结晶。
美国国会议员Michael Baumgartner 再次亲临华协的春节庆祝，并全程出席春晚演出。他忍不住感慨称赞：斯波坎华协的春晚，是他所见过最精彩、最震撼的文化庆祝之一。他问我：“这场春晚到底准备了多久？”我一句简短有力、意味深长的话让他震撼：
“We begin preparing for next year tomorrow.”
（我们从明天就开始准备明年的庆祝。）
朋友们，我这句话一点都不夸张——卓越从来不是偶然，而是全年持续的付出。今天的辉煌，正是大家一整年不懈坚持、反复打磨、全力以赴换来的。
除了美国国会议员 Michael Baumgartner 的高度赞誉外，我们还荣幸地收到斯波坎市市长颁发的春节庆祝活动公告（见下图）。这一官方认可不仅彰显了农历新年庆典在我们社区的影响力与活力，也肯定了其在斯波坎文化生活中的重要地位。

This year’s Chinese Lunar New Year celebration was nothing short of spectacular! Our vibrant cultural fair and bustling food court were overflowing with energy, and the Gala performance itself was a breathtaking highlight—every moment shone and almost every seat was filled. We can truly savor this success—it is the result of every performer, every volunteer, and countless behind-the-scenes heroes working together with heart and dedication.
We were deeply honored to welcome U.S. Congressman Michael Baumgartner once again to our Lunar New Year celebration. He stayed for the entire Gala and was profoundly impressed. After delivering remarks, he told me that Spokane Chinese Association’s Lunar New Year Festival is one of the most remarkable and inspiring cultural celebrations he has ever witnessed. When he asked, “How long did it take to prepare this Gala?” I answered:
“We begin preparing for next year tomorrow.”
Friends, this is no exaggeration—excellence never happens by chance. Today’s triumph is the result of your year-round dedication, relentless practice, and tireless commitment.
In addition to Congressman Baumgartner’s praise, we were also honored to receive a proclamation from the Mayor of the City of Spokane recognizing our celebration (see below). This official recognition underscores the importance and vibrancy of Lunar New Year festivities in our community and affirms their significance in the cultural life of Spokane.
A heartfelt thank you to the hundreds of performers and volunteers whose passion and perseverance made this possible. You are the pride of our community!
