I wish we had more options. Trying to raise my adopted Chinese daughter with some culture here in Spokane is incredible difficult or pricey. Unless you are involved in someone's church, it seems very hard to find something I can include her in.

Dear Holly, I agree with you that Spokane is not as populated with Chinese as big cities like LA or even Seattle, however, I would not want to live in either cities. Spokane is a much better place for a better life quality. That being said, Spokane Chinese are smart like you and me that they choose Spokane to call it a home. We do have a pretty active and caring Chinese community in Spokane. Besides us, Spokane has quite some families with children from China, have you joined that Yahoo group yet? If you haven't, please definitely check them out. If you need help, please contact me, I will be happy to connect you with some friends that I know who are as lucky as you are to have children from China.
