Directions to Mt. Spokane Picnic area:
Address: 29500 N Mt Spokane Park Dr, Mead, WA 99021

Once you arrive at the Mt. Spokane. Then follow our direction to the picnic area.

After passing the park entrance, just following the road, then you will see a parking lot on your right side of the road. Keep going, till you enter another parking lot. Do not go straight where leads to the ski area. Do not turn right where leads to a picnic area that’s not for us. Turing left to go up to the top of the mountain. About half way between the turning and the top of the mountain, you will see an entrance to a picnic area with a parking lot with some picnic tables and a restroom house. That’s the place where we will meet to start our activities. Good luck! See you there!

“铁打的营盘，流水的兵”。这本来是用来形容军队的一句话。如果用来描述Spokane Chinese Association (SCA)，似乎不太恰当。不过，有一点共性的确是存在的。那就是，一个组织/机构必须要有新人新面孔的加入和加强，才能不断地发展。现在， SCA 就面临着“流水的兵”这样一个现实。有几位 SCA Board Members 因为搬迁或工作等原因，不得不离开 SCA。我们目前需要两位热心公众事务，愿意挤出一些自己的空余时间服务社区的本地华人加入SCA Board。

SCA 是一个无党派,无商业功利目的的自发民间组织。其宗旨就是服务于本地华人社区，传承中国文化在海外的延续。相对于其他移民社区的发展，我们虽然起步晚一些，但是我们正在逐步赶上，也取得一些成功。成功的秘诀就是，我们总是有着热心的新兵“流”进这个日益巩固的营盘 - SCA。如果您有兴趣加入我们的“兵团”，请回email: [email protected]或电话509-720-8825。谢谢！

另，协会准备在六月二十号（父亲节）组织一次爬山活动，预定的“目标山头”是Mount Spokane。具体细节将会尽快发出通知。
