刚刚送走了圣诞老人和元旦，耳边又传来越来越清晰的虎啸声声。 咱中国人的虎年快到啦！虽说斯波坎地处西北，不算大地方。 可是“山不在高， 有仙则名”。 城毋须大，有华人那就得热热闹闹庆新春， 欢欢喜喜过个年！

斯波坎华人协会今年准备推出一系列的庆祝活动， 包括游园会，山寨版歌舞晚会，还备下晚宴，给各位老少爷们一个聚首的机会。大家把“茶”言欢，海阔天空。具体详情都在后附的邮件里。敬请点看。我们华人协会全体同仁只有一个心愿：努力把春节活动办得有声有色，为华人社区争光夺彩。尽管华人在斯波坎这个标准的白人城市的人口里只占百分之零点五。但是，我们有义务，有能力过好自己的传统节日，并将其传播弘扬。为斯波坎增添一个红红火火华夏风情的喜庆亮点！

老话说得好，“众人拾柴火焰高”。 我们热切期望各位侨胞和留学生积极的参与和支持。财力物力，多多益善。 目前我们最需要的是志愿者若干名。欢迎有意者及早来电。

Chinese New Year 2010 is the year of the Tiger.  February 14th will be the first day of the year according to the Chinese lunar Calendar.  The Spokane Chinese Association will sponsor the celebration on February 13.  Most of the celebration will be held from 1pm to 5 pm at The Central Valley Arts Performing Center of the Central Valley High School, Spokane Valley.  Please come and join us for this most important Chinese culture celebration.
 
During the time there will be an interesting Chinese Culture Fair, followed by a wonderful performance prepared and presented by the Chinese from Spokane.  And then a New Year’s Dinner will be given to those who like to meet and chat with long-time-no-see friends.  It is a quite significant occasion for Chinese families to gather together at the dinner table.

The tickets are $22 for adult show and dinner, $12 for children age 3-10 show and dinner, $8 for show only. Please contact the following for detailed ticketing information.
